MSC New Corporate Signage signage on glass building

Signcraft was instructed to create and install the building signage, flags and poles for MSC Cruise Management’s new UK headquarters at Heathrow. Fitting the logo signage to the glass wall created certain difficulties, which we overcame using high tech adhesives and bespoke fixings into the building’s metal framework. MSC is a high quality international cruise ship company and therefore expected high quality service and product from us. Working with Antonio Di Neeno, MSC’s marine architect, we delivered a solution to meet all of their requirements. Shipping companies have a great affinity with flags and MSC is no exception. Signage for The Restaurant at Tante Marie
Tante Marie The Restaurant signage by

It’s all about the detail. Signcraft was contracted to create the external building signage for The Restaurant at Tante Marie in Woking, Surrey. This was a difficult building to sign. However, with a great deal of hard work and application of our experienced team’s creative skills, we successfully produced an effective signage package. The main identity signs are constructed from built-up de-scaled stainless steel, which were then powder coated to achieve the desired colour, as well as long-term weather resistant durability. We were commissioned to design, print and install a wall graphic for a new apartment block. Bugler, the developer and client, enlisted the resources of St. Matthew’s Primary School, where pupils carried out some research to find a name for the building. “Art Wood Apartments” was chosen in memory of a local musician and personality, whose international claim to fame is being the eldest brother of Ronnie Wood, guitarist with the Rolling Stones. The potted history that tastefully decorates the reception area walls describes Art as a musician who subsequently became a graphic artist, setting up in business with brother Ted. … Continue reading

Corporate Identity Change, Osborne UK
Corporate identity Hoardings for Osborne Construction

Signcraft was recently instructed to provide signage services in tandem with our client Workplace Creations, who have recently rolled out a corporate identity change and new offices fit-outs for Osborne, the UK construction company. The new corporate identity is a major step for Osborne construction in terms of applying the changes throughout the company. They have embraced a bold and very innovative design, retaining basic elements of their old identity, which uses a distinct and very difficult to reproduce cerise base colour. This colour has proven virtually impossible to match in a spray paint or powder coated format. However, after many trials … Continue reading

Retail Signage for Bedford Shopping Centre
Signage by Signcraft

Retail SIgnage Upgrade. Signcraft has recently completed the re-signing of the St John’s shopping centre in Bedford. The signage was comprised of mainly large format flex face illuminated signs. The project created a major logistical challenge, as installation of the signs had to be staged in line with the main contractor. This meant that we only had a small window of activity available for our team each day. This was to comply with the work restrictions that had been set up to keep local residents on board. The photographs show the impact of the new retail signage. At a uniformly … Continue reading

Shop Fascias and Retail Signage. The propensity of modern shopping centres plus the recession have meant that the opportunity for competitive rents on the high street has increased. However, the number of charity outlets has also risen. Looking good with clear, instantly recognisable signage is the first step in increasing footfall. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) has taken its image very seriously, determined to raise its profile and its share of people’s generosity. The RSPCA recently engaged the Signcraft team to roll out a chain of shop fascias for their retail outlets, with a … Continue reading
