Signcraft is an innovative, modern company with traditional values – a family business with a strong management ethic and an experienced team of signage design, manufacturing and installation professionals who keep pace with the latest technology, value traditional sign makers skills, and encourage methods of sign production that meet the needs of clients.
Our site, near the Grand Union Canal in West Drayton, was originally a 19th Century coach house and stables. Since acquiring the freehold in 1981, we have developed it into a truly 21st Century facility, boasting a state of the art production line capable of delivering high volume, high quality signs.
Founded in 1971 by Bob and Berni Colwell and Phil Morgan as a sign writing partnership serving local estate agencies, Signcraft grew steadily by providing a professional marketing board service to clients in the property sector, expanding skills and services to create superb architectural signage, fascias and displays.

Safe Contractor Scheme
Signcraft are accredited members of the SafeContractor Scheme – a scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers.
Clients now have a legal obligation to ensure their external contractors operate in a safe way and we have developed stringent health and safety systems that do just that.
This includes risk assessment, the use of at least two fitters on each site, and, most importantly, training of all staff in health and safety procedures.
We also take pride in assessing the environmental impact of all of the work that we carry out and minimise disruption to our clients and their customers when on site.
The fact that we are independently assessed provides our clients with peace of mind as they know their work will be carried out to the highest standards of safety.

Signcraft staff are committed to continuously monitoring and improving our environmental performance in order to reduce our impact on the environment.
The Company, like all organisations, inevitably makes an impact on the environment through its use of fossil fuel, energy, water, timber and other natural resources. However we keep abreast of environmental best practice and give preference to purchasing environmentally friendly products and services that meet current performance, safety and regulatory requirements.
We minimise the use of energy wherever possible and have introduced robust recycling and waste management procedures.
Our environmental procedures have been independently audited and found to be in line with current best practice as outlined by The Carbon Trust.
